Driving a Semi-truck can be very stressful, although traveling from State to State can also be a lot of fun. To stay occupied when over the road, try these ideas below. In between stays visit the local Casino. Who knows you may win big! Catch a movie, if you have to stay over for the weekend, we all know that things happen in trucking and layovers happen all the time. If you are interested in sports, catch a Pro-Game. Visit a local ticket master and grab a ticket. Hang out at the local cultural concerts most of the time they are free and you can listen to the music while enjoying the view. Visit a local theme park or museum. Better yet a golf course! Make money by filling out surveys online, or better yet start writing articles. Just the thought of stepping out into the Trucker Industry can send shivers down the spine of even the most independent wife. As a husband, you may feel helpless but you are not. There are some simple things that you can do that will make the first trip over the road easier on your wife. Take your wife to the office with you, this will give her the opportunity to get to know the staff, and take a tour of the trucking environment. You never know if she will need to call the office, this way she will have an idea who she is communicating with. Spend as much time together as you possibly can, before you are expected to leave out. This way you can spend a little alone time to talk and know what is expected of each other during your time away on the road.
